Adult Basic
Education:
Tutors help
students develop skills in reading, writing, math,
citizenship, basic work tasks, beginning computer
applications, self-confidence.
Tutors for one-on-one instruction,
and instructional materials are provided.

English as a
Second Language (ESL) Classes:
Tutoring and class
work for individuals learning English as a second language. Primarily available to Spanish-speaking individuals.
Students will develop skills in speaking, reading and
writing English. One-on-one instruction or small
classes are both available. Instructional materials,
including books, tapes and videos are provided.

Family Literacy
Program:
RCLP envisions a
community where every child receives the literacy support he
or she needs, from responsible/caring adults, in order to
succeed in school and in life.
RCLP will
assist parents with
reading and writing skills, open discussions,
self-confidence and developmental activities for pre-school
children of enrolled parents. Books and other
instructional materials are provided.

GED Tutoring:
Provides assistance
in preparation for those wishing to earn a High
School Equivalency Diploma. Becoming a High
School graduate opens up new opportunities -- go to college,
start a new career, earn more money. Even if you decide not
to go on to college, your High School Diploma can qualify
you for new career fields. Tutors provide one-on-one
coaching, as well as workshops in various subject areas.
Self-paced computer program and other materials are provided
for study.
